From unique climbing centres to laser quest, the seaside venue is the ideal spot for families.

As half-term approaches, now is the perfect time to start planning for a fun getaway or day out with the little ones that is guaranteed to, not only bring a smile to the whole families’ faces but, also make this week one to remember.

As families prepare for darker and colder weather, there’s no need to sit at home and be down as the one-stop family destination, Skegness Pier has visitors covered with plenty of exciting entertainment and adventures.

Located on the stunning Skegness coast, Skegness Pier has been entertaining families for over a century, and this year things are no different as guests can enjoy the finest attractions Lincolnshire has to offer.

The only one of its kind on the East Coast, Clip ‘n Climb was introduced to the pier this year and is already becoming a firm-favourite with regular visitors. The exhilarating climbing centre caters for families of all ages and offers exciting but nail-biting adventures. Guests can take on an impressive 14 different climbing walls before being faced with the adrenalin-pumping challenge, ‘Leap of Faith’.

Let the little ones loose in the soft play arena, Hero Zone, restricted to those between 0.8m and 1.7m. Children can enter the arena, load up their ball blaster, choose a team and shoot foam balls into an array of targets to build their team’s score. Hero Zone is perfect for increasing children’s special awareness, co-ordination, and relationship skills, so learning doesn’t need to stop during the holidays!

As well as the exciting new attractions, other favourites remain at the seaside venue include laser quest, arcades, escape rooms, 10-pin bowling, and Captain Kids, which allows youngsters to enjoy soft play with their peers. So, get booking places now ahead of the half-term.

Paige Harris, Head of Marketing for Skegness Pier, said: “Skegness Pier is one of the largest entertainment centres on the East Coast of Lincolnshire and is a one-stop destination for the whole family this October half-term.
