A new symbol of love has arrived at Skegness Pier, giving visitors a chance to share a special moment while supporting a great cause.
We are excited to introduce The Heart of Skegness—a captivating new addition to the iconic Skegness Pier! This stunning structure, located on the Pier’s deck, is the perfect way for visitors to celebrate their connections with loved ones while making a positive impact on the local community.
As part of this unique experience, visitors can use a grabber to “win” a Love Lock padlock, inscribe it with their initials (and those of someone special), and secure it to the heart as a symbol of their lasting bond. Whether you’re celebrating love, friendship, or family, Love Locks offers a memorable keepsake for all.
But it’s not just about celebrating love—this initiative also makes a difference! A portion of the proceeds from the Love Locks grabber will fund new defibrillators for Skegness, ensuring the town stays safe for everyone.
Local dignitaries will attend a special unveiling ceremony to mark this occasion and welcome this wonderful new addition to Skegness Pier.
Paige Harris-Scott, Brand and Strategic Partnership Manager for Skegness Pier, said on the announcement:

The ‘Heart of Skegness’ is open from Saturday 9th November.
